To Have Strong Marriages
Father, I’m praying for all those in my immediate and extended family who are married (name them)…
Protect our marriages. May each husband be strong in his faith, yielded to the Lord, loving, kind, and considerate. May they all be men of prayer and students of the Word—in every way the leaders and examples they are meant to be. May they love their wives as they love their own bodies, and may their wives respect and love them. (Matthew 8:5–10; Romans 12:1; John 13:34; Ephesians 4:32; 1 Peter 3:7; Psalm 119:15; Ephesians 5:33)
May each wife be her husband’s help and support, the one who makes him complete. Help them all be submissive, strong, God-fearing, generous, and wise. May their husbands have confidence in them as they watch over the household, and may their husbands and children call them blessed. (Genesis 2:18; Ephesians 5:22; Proverbs 31:25, 30b, 20, 26, 27, 28)
May husbands and wives be protected from the evil one, who wants to destroy marriages and disrupt families. Help them to live in the shelter of Your presence, protected under the refuge of Your wings. (John 17:15; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; John 10:10; Psalm 91:1–4, 14–16)
Keep their marriages free from the influence of the world.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord let me be …
Lord, let me be where I am right now. Let me accept myself and love myself as I am right now - this moment, without a single thing being different.
You love me now. Let me love me now! Lord, let me live in the now because you are there.
I can’t meet you in the past or the future. If that is where I always am, I will miss you and I will miss what you are doing now.
I want to be able to see the beauty of what you are about.
Lord, help me to be silent for at least a few moments. Help me to quiet not only my tongue, but also my restless mind and heart.
If I cannot be quiet, how will I ever hear your gentle voice pleading with me to come to you and receive your rest?

Lord use my little sufferings…
Lord, use my little sufferings to purify me and to bring me closer to the transforming union. Use them in your heavenly economy to purchase the grace necessary for the salvation of all our family. Lord give me more willingness to practice self-mortification and help me remember to offer these and other sufferings for their conversion.

Practise and live the Holy Mass!
You may be helped by a consideration which that priest, in love, used to repeat to himself: “Is it possible, my God, to take part in the Holy Mass and not be a saint?”
And he would continue, “Each day, in fulfilment of an old promise, I will remain hidden in the Wound of Our Lord’s Side!”
Shouldn’t you do the same?
– St. Josemaria Escriva, The Forge, #934 —- Lord, may every Eucharist I receive, transform me more into Your image!
